Mark Gurman reported that the Apple iPhone 17 line-up could include the thinnest and lightest model.
The iPhone 17 Slim has been rumored about for some time now but it is now said that one will focus on creating a mobile phone which is much thinner and lighter than the others which they ever produced before based on a trustworthy source” he added. It is reported that Apple intends to launch a new cut-down version of its existing product range that will be referred to as “Slim” – a word that has been used in prognosticating other slim models before the real Slim would stand up to date.
At present, the iPhone 15 standard model has a weight of 171 grams and a thickness of 7.80mm. It is not yet clear how heavy or thin iPhone 17 Slim is but rumor has it that Apple Inc.’s aim is to unveil a much slimmer phone than what is currently available among its iPhones 17 family come 2025. Coincidentally, it is anticipated that Samsung will equally bring to market Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim in certain regions of the world during this year.
Apple is developing its MacBook Pro and Apple Watch models to be thinner in addition to the iPhone. The lighter and slimmer designs of the company are further anticipated to go higher in the next iPad Pro, which is expected to be the thinnest and lightest device in tech at large.
Apple is revamping its product line due to the escalating competition in the tech space. Thinner and lighter iPhone designs mean it will now be easier to operate, concurrently improving its aesthetic appeal and ergonomic value.
